1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CoopCart (coopcart.ca), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
CoopCart provides a grocery price comparison platform, shopping list optimization tools, community-powered pricing data, cooperative management features, and group buying functionality for Canadian consumers.
3. Price Information
Prices displayed on CoopCart are collected from store flyers and community submissions and are provided for informational purposes only. Actual in-store prices may vary. CoopCart does not guarantee the accuracy of any price listed on the platform.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and submitting receipt data.
5. Community Contributions
When you submit receipt data to CoopCart, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, aggregate, and display that pricing data as part of our community price database. Submissions are anonymized — your personal identity is never attached to price reports.
6. Cooperatives & Group Buys
CoopCart provides tools for organizing cooperatives and group buys. CoopCart is not a party to any transactions between cooperative members or group buy participants. Each cooperative operates independently and is responsible for its own governance.
7. Limitation of Liability
CoopCart is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to inaccurate pricing information or failed group buy transactions.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
